Reblogging because it’s one of those things I dislike about myself but everyone else seems to like xD
Chris Priestley on writing horror… (via ladybookbird)
I have to comment on this:
This is a pretty close-minded outlook. Just because Edgar Allan Poe didn’t tweet? That’s not to say he wouldn’t, had the technology been available in his day. Especially considering the fact that Poe is definitely an original emo I guarantee that if he were alive today, he would have a myspace or tumblr dedicated to how much he hates life, just like all the other emos in the world do.
No, if a writer wants to use technology in the writing (whether they write horror or any genre) they should do. Just because your hobby is different than other people in your field, doesn’t mean your writing will suffer. No, Priestley, I don’t agree with you. you may prefer to write alone, but some people prefer to multi-task and socialise.
HOLY SHIT. Best HOUR i ever spent in my life.
because there were no good old days…
I love how much they understand nostalgia and how artificial it is. People always dreaming of a past they never had.
Reblog if this is a lie and you have made amazing friends on the internet.
Met all of the best people in my life online. Ballin’.
I met my best friend and went half way around the world!
Why was it okay for people to make best friends through pen pal programmes in the past, but not by meeting online?
Why is it ok to go to a communal place, such as groups at libraries, to meet people who share your interests and make friends, but it’s weird when you meet people online who share your interests and make friends with them?
I just would love to see the insane chemistry that they share on screen again!
